MPPT charge controller with display EPSOLAR TRACER 3215AN 30A uses the latest technology for these devices.
This is the MPPT function that ensures 30% higher efficiency compared to traditional charge regulators.
Thanks to this function, the output current is higher than that produced directly by the photovoltaic panel.
For example, the current from the panel may be 8A but the output current to the battery may reach 10A.
In practice, the regulator exploits the voltage jump that is normally present between the photovoltaic panel (17/18V) and the battery (13/14V), transforming it into current.
It can work in 12V systems for a maximum panel power of 390W and in 24V systems for a maximum panel power of 780W, managing a total current of 30A.
The TRACER MPPT accepts a maximum voltage from the panels of 100V. In this way, it is also possible to connect energy account panels in 12Vdc or 24Vdc systems.
It will therefore be possible to use panels that are not compatible with traditional charge regulators in systems for campers, cabins or boats.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Automatic recognition of 12/24V system voltage
  • Automatic MPPT function (Advance maximum power point tracking)
  • Automatic day/night recognition
  • The DUAL TIMER function allows you to program the number of hours a load (e.g. lamps) is switched on, after sunset and before sunrise.
  • Possibility of using sealed lead batteries (including AGM), gel batteries and non-sealed lead batteries
  • Uses temperature compensation to correct charge and discharge parameters, improving battery life
  • Electronic protection against overload, short circuit, overvoltage and reverse polarity of the panel and battery
  • LVD function protects the battery from deep discharge
  • RS485 interface for connecting the MT-50 Remote Display (optional)
  • Terminals for 10mmq cable.
